Calgary Kennel and Obedience Club proudly presents
Transformational Puppy Evaluation System and Matching
Connecting Dogs and Owners so All Thrive
A Two Day Presentation with
Gayle Watkins, Ph.D.
Avidog® International, LLC
This is one of Gayle’s most exciting seminars! Over these two days, we’ll learn about the evaluations every puppy should undergo before placement: temperament, structure, health and working ability. Then we’ll focus on puppy temperament traits and how they mature into an adult dog’s personality. We’ll temperament test several puppies to better understand the Avidog Puppy Evaluation Test, from conducting one to interpreting the results.
We’ll also consider the other end of the leash, trying to better understand owners and what they need in their dog so we can match puppies to homes. Even the best bred and raised puppy can fail if it is not in the right home so matching is a critical element of raising or purchasing a pup.
Finally, we will create short training plans to help owners focus on the top socialization, development and training issues with their puppy.
Rich with videos and examples, this seminar will broaden and deepen your understanding of canine temperament and development starting in puppyhood,
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
The seminar has something to offer any serious dog person but will have particular appeal to:

forward manner while still being very entertaining. Her methodology on puppy testing is revolutionary and will change the way we place our puppies. Her method of testing is not only easy to implement, but it is intuitive and repeatable. Her seminar will teach even the most
experienced breeders something new
Avidog seminar? I would miss a dog show, an agility trial….heck, maybe even my own wedding to attend another seminar…
It has often been said that the average presenter informs, the good presenter persuades and the great presenter inspires. Gayle definitely belongs in the latter category. I have never been to a workshop where so many people had such profound shifts in thinking and such enormous learning, regardless of background, experience, interest or breed.
