Animals have been Lise’s passion for as long as she can remember, having trained and competed with Quarter Horses and golden retrievers for over 40 years. Her focus since 1996 has turned strictly to dogs, starting with her first golden, “Flyer” – Regina’s Flyin’ Sky-Hi TDX SH AX AXJ WCX NAC NGC NJC CGC.

In 1997 Lise, along with her sister Marcy, start SNAP, a successful dog training school on Long Island where she has helped thousands of puppies become wonderful family companions and successful agility dogs. In the quest to become not only the best trainer she could be, but teacher, she became a learning junkie, attending as many dog training/behavior/breeding seminars and workshops as she could. 10 years later she made a mid-life career change to follow her passion and left the world of court reporting to become a full-time dog trainer.

In 2001 Lise got her first Gaylan’s puppy – “Goose” MACH Can CH Gaylan’s Born To Fly CD SH WCX VCX CCA OS ADHF – which started a wonderful friendship and eventually a co-breeding arrangement with Gayle. That journey led Lise and Gayle to partner in Avidog where Lise now shares her passion for puppies with people around the world.
